Wednesdays 5:30PM - April Glazing 101

$239.00

5:30 - 7:00PM / 4 consecutive weeks (April 9, 16, 23, 30)

(For students who have completed the Beginner I Wheel Throwing or Handbuilding Course at Preacher or elsewhere))

Glazing can be hard and certainly frustrating at times. This course is to introduce tips, tricks and differing methods of glaze application to help your pieces achieve a more controlled and expected result. This class will cover techniques for dip & brush application, along with underglaze, underglaze transfers, tape resist, and a few special effect glaze methods.

**Participants will be required on week 3 to bring leather hard pieces to class. 6” x 6” slabs could easily work for this if needed.

Instructor: Lina Elassi

***If an unforeseen circumstance were to arise and you would need to withdraw from a class, you can receive a refund up to 14 days prior to the first lesson, but must incur a $75 cancellation fee. We cannot provide refunds for class withdrawals less than 14 days from the start date, however, classes are transferrable. Please notify us if you would like to transfer the set of classes to another person to attend in your place before lessons begin.

Students may only attend the classes at the dates/times for which they signed up. Unfortunately, we cannot offer make-up lessons, but we will provide an optional 2 hours of open studio credit so they may continue to work on their pieces without falling behind.
