Transfer Techniques Workshop
July 27th. 5-7pm.
Come learn how to apply underglaze transfers to your ceramic work. During this workshop, each participant will learn how to apply rice paper transfers and create their own with newspaper transfers decorated with slip or underglaze. Each person will decorate 2-3 of their own pieces.
Students can provide their own pieces to use during the workshop or purchase 3 tiles for use during the workshop (additional $15 paid at arrival). Participants (who know how) can also arrive 15 minutes early and roll their own slabs to use during the workshop (only clay purchased from Preacher can be used in our kilns). If providing your own wares please follow the maximum size of 8” wide and 6” tall. You may bring your own underglaze transfers for use in the workshop, or purchase from our studio between 4:30-5pm. Pieces will be fired and ready for pick-up 4 weeks after the workshop is completed.

***Due to limited availability, we cannot offer refunds for this workshop. In the event that you are unable to attend, you may transfer your seat to another person.
